Meet Our Staff

The Final Descent Outdoors staff is made up of, construction workers, truck drivers, school teachers, law enforcement officers, ministers, salesman, and other average joe's. Not only are we friends but we are brothers in Christ. We laugh, cry, and celebrate as brothers. Though we are not perfect, we strive to be Christ-like in our words and actions in every setting. Our goal is to live moral and upright lives. In a world of corruption, lies, and selfishness we strive to go against that current and be a light of doing what is right and to put others first.

Pro Staff

Adam Nicholas

Adam Nicholas has been on the Final Descent Outdoors staff for four years and is based Choctaw, Oklahoma.  Adam had his best year in the woods in 2013 as he was able to harvest three great bucks from Oklahoma, Kansas, and Ohio.  Adam is active in his local church and works for the United States Air Force.  Adam filmed with Buckventures of the Sportsman Channel before joining the Final Descent crew.

Jason Cariker

Jason Cariker has been with Final Descent Outdoors as a pro staffer and owner for two years.  Jason is based in Stratford, Oklahoma where is was born and raised. Jason is an avid bowhunter and has taken great bucks on camera for FDO in Texas and Oklahoma the past couple years.  Jason operates a construction business run by him and his wife as well as being an advocate for foster parenting in the state of Oklahoma.

Mark Hudson

Mark Hudson has been with Final Descent Outdoors as an owner and pro staffer for two years and is based in western Illinois.  Mark and his wife Deb love the outdoors, Mark says "You want to hunt more?  Get your wife to hunt with you and you will."  When Mark isn't hunting he can be found on a horse where he has earned a reputation as being a pretty good roper.  Mark met Brad through church where Mark and Deb served as volunteers in the youth ministry while Brad was the youth minister.

Jeremy Roland

Jeremy Roland has been with Final Descent Outdoors one year and is based in south central Iowa.  Jeremy is in the land of giants and has the deer on the wall to prove it.  Jeremy and his family farm several thousand acres in southern Iowa where he also hunts.  Jeremy actually stumbled onto a Final Descent Outdoors episode in 2013 and sent an email in regards to the show.  Jeremy helps lead a house church and wanted to use his passion for hunting for the Kingdom of God.  The rest is history.

Paul Powers

Paul Powers has been with Final Descent Outdoors for five years and is based in Marlow, OK.  Brad and Paul have been friends since they were in diapers.  Paul grew up hunting western Oklahoma with Brad.  Paul has had unbelievable success the last few years killing some great bucks in Oklahoma.  Paul is a sports junky and when he isn't with his wife and kids can be found playing basketball at his men's league at his church in Marlow, OK.  Their is one thing that will keep Paul out of a tree stand in the fall and that is the Sooners. 

Justin James

Justin James has been with Final Descent Outdoors for four years and is based in Wheeler, TX.  Justin was born and raised in the Oklahoma panhandle and so he is used to flat ground, no trees, and 50mph winds.  This has evolved Justin as a deer hunter learning to hunt from the ground and learn to pattern deer to be successful.  When Justin isn't hunting or spending time with his family he is teaching students as a Ag teacher in his local school.

DANIEL ARMS

Daniel Arms has been with Final Descent Outdoors for two years and is based in Sulphur, OK.  Daniel grew up on a small ranch in Oklahoma.  Like many small towns in Oklahoma hunting and fishing was just a way of life.  Daniel does a great job managing his properties and has had some great results from his hard work.  When Daniel isn't hunting he is spending time with his family and watching his kids play sports.  Daniel is an law enforcement officer in Oklahoma.

Field Staff

Jonathan Stinson

Jonathan Stinson is from Mayfield Kentucky and joined the Final Descent Outdoors staff in 2015.  Jonathan is the son of a preacher man!  He is active in his home church and helps coordinate the men's ministry of his church.  Jonathan is an avid bowhunter and has been blessed with some great ground to hunt.  When he isn't sitting in the stand over a corn or soy bean field he is with his wife and three kids.

BRANDON RILEY

Brandon Riley is from Mayfield Kentucky and joined the Final Descent Outdoors staff in 2015.  Brandon and fellow staffer Jonathan Stinson manage their property in western Kentucky for trophy whitetail and have had some great success over the years.  Brandon is a linesman by trade and when he isn't working and hunting he is with his family or attending his home church in Mayfield, Trace Creek Baptist Church.  Brandon loves to deer hunt but also loves to chase turkeys and completed his first grand slam in 2015.

Mark Henson

Mark Henson has been with Final Descent Outdoors for two years and is based in Emporia, KS.  Mark is our oldest member and brings the most filming experience to the team.  Mark has been filming hunts for over 12 years and has filmed for several outdoor television shows.  Most recently he was with Hallowed Ground Outdoors on the Sportsman Channel before joining FDO.  Mark is a pastor and has a heart for outdoorsman.  Mark loves to hunt the giant whitetail that roam central Kansas where he lives but Mark is truly addicted to hunting turkeys.  When Mark isn't spending time with his wife, his local church body, or chasing around grandkids Mark is running in preparation for an endurance race.

Marcus Powell

Marcus has been with Final Descent Outdoors as a field staffer for one year and is based in south central Iowa.  Marcus is also owner of Trinity Archery.  Marcus has a passion to see men come into a relationship with Christ and is using his business of Trinity Archery to do so.  Marcus and Trinity Archery giveaway bibles to outdoorsman who don't have a copy of the bible.  Marcus is active in his local church and is also a talented musician and uses his talent to lead worship.  Marcus is also in big buck country and loves hunting those monster whitetail with his family.

Eric Worley

Eric Worley has been on the Final Descent field staffer for one year and is based in Ada, OK.  Eric also grew up hunting in western Oklahoma.  Eric works in the oil field and will soon be a married man.  Eric loves to hunt his home state of Oklahoma but also has been successful hunting other states laying down some good deer in the south.  Eric has done a good job getting the most out of the small properties he manages which has led to him being able to harvest some great deer over the years.

Joe Dansby

Joe Dansby has been with Final Descent Outdoors as a field staffer for one year and is based in Purcell, OK.  Joe is kind of the class clown of the group.  Joe works for a foundation repair company and before that he served in the armed forces.  Joe is an avid bowhunter and has been best friends with fellow FDO staffer Jason Cariker since they were kids.  When Joe isn't working he is home with his wife and their new born baby.  Joe and his family are active in their church they attend in Stratford, OK.  

Deb Hudson

Deb Hudson joined the Final Descent Outdoors field staff two years ago and is based in western Illinois.  Deb is new to hunting but it didn't take long for the bug to set in.  So far every animal Deb has killed has been on camera for FDO.  If her and her husband Mark ever get into a shooting match then most of us are betting on Deb.  When Deb isn't hunting she is driving a truck as the owner and operator of her own trucking business.  

Jacob Cornish

Jacob Cornish has been with Final Descent Outdoors as a field staffer for one year and is based in Allegan, MI.  Jacob comes from a large family where hunting wasn't just about harvesting a trophy but also about putting food not he table.  Jacob is also a very talented videographer and editor.  Jacob is very involved in the local church and when he isn't hunting, working, or filming a project he is working out.  Jacob and his brother Jonathan are the newest members to the Final Descent Outdoors field staff team.

Jonathan Cornish

Jonathan Cornish has been with Final Descent Outdoors as a field staffer for one year and is based in Allegan, MI. Jonathan is the second youngest member of the FDO team.  Much like his older brother Jacob, Jon is a talented videographer and editor.  The brother duo are filming partners for Final Descent.  Jon  is also very involved in the local church and is also very active in doing missions through a variety of trips.

Brant Hill

Brant Hill has been with the Final Descent Outdoors field staffer one year and is based in Edmond, OK.  Brant played football at the University of Arkansas.  From the stories we think he spent more time in the rice fields of Arkansas hunting waterfowl than he did on the campus.  Brant and Brad have been buddies for several years and spend a lot of the time hunting together.  When Brant isn't hunting he is running his construction business and attending his local church in Edmond, OK.  

Trenton Gaines

Trenton Gaines lives in Wheeler, TX and has been filming with pro staffer Justin James for several years.  Trenton has been in show numerous times but 2015 is his first time as an official staff member.  Trenton by day works in the oil field and when he isn't hunting he is at home with his wife and his children.  Trenton and his family attend a local church in Wheeler, TX. 

Johnny Maxwell

Johnny lives in Marlow, OK and has been helping pro staffer Paul Powers film for several years now.  Johnny is no stranger to the show as he has killed and filmed several great bucks for the show over the years.  Johnny and his family own a beautiful ranch in southern Oklahoma that they manage for trophy whitetail.  When Johnny isn't hunting, feeding cows, keeping Paul Powers in line, or playing golf he is at home with his family.
